Library 2.0
I think library 2.0 is exciting as client feedback is very important. It would be great to think they(students and academics) are part of the library not just users. I think our new subject guides can be a forerunner in this movement for Deakin library.

catch up entry, wiki, del.ico.us, YouTube
Sorry I've been remiss in keeping up my blog entries. I have added my pet's photo to the library wiki and have added the del.icio.us extensions to my firefox toolbar. I think this is going to be very useful in the future for keeping track of favorite web sites. Especially as I've saved sites both in firefox and IE now. I've also already looked at quite a few library videos on YouTube as I'm on a small working party within our library to produce a welcome vodcast for new students next year. We haven't found anything exactly like we want to produce, some are a bit corny, which is a danger.

I've created my account and found a friend but couldn't work out how to join Deakin network. I have added photos now and been contacted by my 18 year old niece and a friend's daughter to be added as a "friend". Also, an old school friend found me via facebook. I played a game of scrabulus with Helen, which was fun.
